NetCloak Pro supports an additional Web server action for forms-processing functions (which ordinarily use template files with the suffix ".fdml"). Information about FDML files is described later in this User's Guide.
Listed below are the additional installation instructions specific to NetCloak Pro to register this additional action and suffix mapping with your Web server software.
If you are using a Web server other than WebSTAR, you will need to manually remove the suffix mapping. See your Web server documentation for instructions on editing suffix mappings and default suffix mappings. If you manually created a suffix mapping for a suffix other than ".html", ".nclk", or ".fdml", then you will need to manually reset or delete it.
Two binary files, named "UserTrack" and "RecentDocuments", are created and are not readable by any program other than NetCloak Pro. They are special files that NetCloak Pro uses to store information on user activity and recently accessed documents. If these files are deleted or absent, new files by the same names will be created automatically.
A file named "NetCloak Preferences" is automatically created also. This file stores the configuration options selected in the "Configuration" dialog. Because it resides in the "NetCloak Files" folder and not in the "Preferences" folder inside your System Folder, you can have multiple copies of NetCloak running on the same server, each with its own set of configuration options. This is useful when running more than one web server on the same machine, as commonly occurs when running a secure Web server on the same machine as a standard server to provide secure communications.
Finally, NetCloak Pro creates two subfolders within the "NetCloak Files" folder used to process email messages, named "NetForms Mail Queue" and "NetForms Failed Mail". Mail messages generated via the SENDMAIL directive are stored in the " NetForms Mail Queue" folder temporarily until they are sent. When errors occur, failed mail messages are moved to the " NetForms Failed Mail" folder.
